VET windmills are completely designed, developed and manufactured at our own facility in Bangalore, hence it is a total indigenous technology. With our new advanced technology of permanent magnet alternators our windmills are directly coupled to the turbines and our turbine blade profiles are designed as per the wind velocity available at the location hence power is generated at all speeds. Windmills of different models have been developed suitable for site and load conditions which is VET’S unique design feature. We manufacture both Horizontal Axis Wind Turbines(HAWT) and Vertical Axis Wind Turbines (VAWT) which are widely used for power generation. The roof-top of the high raised buildings or open areas where wind breeze of 2.5 to 5 meters /sec is sufficient and convenient to install these windmills.
Our wind turbines range from 100W to 100kW for HAWT and 100W to 5kW for VAWT and are designed for both ROOF TOP mounting and Ground mounting. We recommend 100W to 5kW wind mills for Roof top mounting and above 5kW to 100kW ground mounting is suitable. With direct shaft-mount alternators and no mechanical gears, they offer silent operation, minimal wear and tear, and reduced maintenance costs.
